Well, long time, no write. I've not been doing much 3D art recently due to burnout. Nor much 'other' art. 
I'm mostly just lurking, watching and dealing with life via laptop. I sold the rig and am kinda moving on
to try and find other forms of creativity, though I still dabble in portraits. It's a little easier on me that-a-way.

And certainly on my pocket book!

My 'fancy' DA membership is coming to a close so I'm probably going to be clearing out the pretty templates
in a few days and just going back to the stock shades of green, b/c they don't offer reasonably priced annual
memberships anymore. 

It'd just be too cost-prohibitive to subscribe-by-quarter, and quite frankly, I'd rather spend the funds on my
Pusheen Box "lootbox" that arrives quarterly on my doorstep, and has an annual subscription to lots of 
kawaii kitteh goodness that makes me smile.

I'm dealing with what it means to have an official Aspberger's diagnosis and working my way through 
understanding it and those life-long struggles I've dealt with--that were long thought to just be random
'problems' or 'eccentricities'. Well, now I know what they are, the challenge is how to deal with them and
be a better me...and that's taking up a lot of my mental bandwidth. 

I'll still be lurking from time to time, might post from time to time, but if you really need to find me, it'll
probably be on Facebook or Instagram.

So, I've essentially built a new franken-puter, or done a massive upgrade for the first time in 5 (almost 6)
years. Gone is the really old ASUS Sabretooth 990FX mobo from late 2011/early 2012 and the mid-cycle
upgrade to max it out with the AMD FX-8350 CPU and 32 GB DDR3 RAM. Hasta la vista... (Hubby's happy
to have the CPU, chum is happy to have his old FX-8120 CPU, and my old mobo and RAM).

I had tried to do some liquid cooling and a new case to break a massive rendering bottle neck and some 
heat issues going on in my case. (I have a Rosewill Nighthawk case sitting around my flat now....  )

So, that was almost $200 invested...so screw it...I decided to ugprade the guts and get a new CPU, RAM
& mobo and be done with it, so now, around $800 bucks later, I have an i7-7700K, 32 GB DDR4 RAM and
an ASUS Prime Z270-AR sitting in my case and rendering faster, cooler, smoother and less problems than
I -was- having. 

My wallet's not happy, but I think my tax return went to a good cause...I'm set for a few years...until it's
time for a new video card, b/c even an nVidia GeForce 970 GTX will show it's age eventually...

Just doing some Fall Cleaning in the gallery and stuff. I've found my muse peeking around
the corners and stirring. That's something, I hope...

Not much else going on, other than the random migraines and stuff that're annoying me 
every other week or so. There's been alot of them this summer and it's been really, really
bugging me. I'm off to see the neurologist on Tuesday for a checkup, and I'm going to be
asking about the frequency and intensity of them, because this has been unusual  of late.

Otherwise, I've cleaned most of the Millineum 4 figures (V4, M4 etc) out of my hard drives.
They're backed up on DVD, so if I really -need- something, or the related stuff, I know I 
have it. I just need...to have less junk floating around to worry about cluttering up my drives
and digital archives.

Otherwise, I'm going to get my butt in gear and get back into the work of doing art. I have
a piece I need to get finished up this weekend so I can put a killshot on an older secenery
runtime I need to exoricse from that runtimes drive and get it out of my misery.... AFTER I
finish this one piece.

Then I'm home free to delete some elderly scenes and just be done with them. 

I need to start fresh with some stuff and move forward.
